Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Views of Mount Huang by Mei Qing was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. The price achieved of HKD 66,000.00 (€ 6,629.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mei Qing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scenes Of Mt. Huang in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,440,000.00 (€ 401,883.72).
