Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Immortals on Huangshan by Mei Qing was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2015. The price achieved of HKD 3,040,000.00 (€ 351,586.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,500,000.00 – 3,500,000.00. Other works by Mei Qing have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2015 the work Scenes Of Mt. Huang was auctioned for HKD 3,440,000.00 (€ 401,883.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Immortals on Huangshan von Mei Qing wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.040.000,00 (€ 351.586,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 2.500.000,00 – 3.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Mei Qing konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2015 die Arbeit Scenes Of Mt. Huang für HKD 3.440.000,00 (€ 401.883,72) versteigert.
