Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction The Mu-Fei Collection of Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscape by Mei Qing. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 13,127.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mei Qing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scenes Of Mt. Huang in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,440,000.00 (€ 401,883.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Mu-Fei Collection of Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Mei Qing zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 13.127,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mei Qing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scenes Of Mt. Huang im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.440.000,00 (€ 401.883,72).
