The work Landscape of Mount Huang by Mei Qing was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. It achieved a price of HKD 780,000.00 (€ 78,346.45), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. Admittedly, works by Mei Qing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scenes Of Mt. Huang in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,440,000.00 (€ 401,883.72).

Die Arbeit Landscape of Mount Huang von Mei Qing wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 780.000,00 (€ 78.346,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mei Qing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scenes Of Mt. Huang im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.440.000,00 (€ 401.883,72).
