Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape after Old Master by Mei Lanfang was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in February 2021. The price achieved of HKD 25,500.00 (€ 2,718.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mei Lanfang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Amitayu in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 77,457.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape after Old Master von Mei Lanfang kam im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.500,00 (€ 2.718,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mei Lanfang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Amitayu im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 77.457,17).
