Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Carré Déplacé en 10 by Mehdi Moutashar was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,463.80). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mehdi Moutashar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Zone 28, which sold at auction in October 2015 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,904.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Carré Déplacé en 10 von Mehdi Moutashar kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.300,00 (€ 7.463,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Mehdi Moutashar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Zone 28 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.904,91) versteigert wurde.
