Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mehdi Moutashar could be acquired at Bonhams in London in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction, the work Calligraphie changed hands for GBP 750.00 (€ 835.57) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mehdi Moutashar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zone 28 in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,904.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mehdi Moutashar konnte im Dezember 2018 bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale wechselte die Arbeit Calligraphie für GBP 750,00 (€ 835,57) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mehdi Moutashar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zone 28 im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.904,91).
