Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Maya Gold could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in December 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Israeli & International Art auction, the work Major Ursa changed hands for USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,374.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maya Gold - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work December 21, Midnight, which sold at auction in December 2010 for USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,362.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Maya Gold konnte im Dezember 2015 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Israeli & International Art wechselte die Arbeit Major Ursa für USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.374,25) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Maya Gold mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit December 21, Midnight beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.362,50) versteigert wurde.
