It achieved a price of SEK 55,000.00 (€ 5,559.20), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 57%. Admittedly, works by Max Papart have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Musiciens in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 59,375.00 (€ 41,301.47).

Die Arbeit "Humanité" von Max Papart wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Moderna bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 55.000,00 (€ 5.559,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 57%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Max Papart auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Musiciens im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 59.375,00 (€ 41.301,47).
