Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Max Mikael Book could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary auction, the work "Detour" changed hands for SEK 20,000.00 (€ 2,307.46) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Max Mikael Book have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Cumulus" in October 2018 with an auction result of SEK 200,000.00 (€ 19,290.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Max Mikael Book konnte im November 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary wechselte die Arbeit "Detour" für SEK 20.000,00 (€ 2.307,46) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Max Mikael Book auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Cumulus" im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 200.000,00 (€ 19.290,50).
