The work ‘Evenings In Printing House Square’ (‘Lord Northcliffe: “Help! Again I Feel The Demons Of Sensationalism Rising In Me. Hold Me Fast! Curb Me, If You Love Me!”’) by Max Beerbohm was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2018. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,692.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Max Beerbohm have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Mr Churchill' in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 54,081.37).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.692,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
