The work Etude de grotesques by Mauro Antonio Tesi was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in February this year. It achieved a price of EUR 2,362.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 57 %. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mauro Antonio Tesi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A section of a ceiling with coffering and sculpture ( recto ); Studies of architectural motives from S. Maria in Aracoeli, Rome ( verso ) sold at auction in September 2016 with the realized price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,474.37).

Die Arbeit Etude de grotesques von Mauro Antonio Tesi kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.362,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 57 %. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Mauro Antonio Tesi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit A section of a ceiling with coffering and sculpture ( recto ); Studies of architectural motives from S. Maria in Aracoeli, Rome ( verso ) im September 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.474,37).
