Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mauro Reggiani; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Composizione 38 sold at auction in November 2003 with the realized price of EUR 37,200.00.

Die Arbeit Composizione In Giallo von Mauro Reggiani kam im Februar 2021 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 22.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50 %. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Mauro Reggiani; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Composizione 38 im November 2003 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 37.200,00.
