In December 2016 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Composizione by Mauro Reggiani. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,000.00 60% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Mauro Reggiani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composizione 38 in November 2003 with an auction result of EUR 37,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2016 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composizione von Mauro Reggiani zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 8.000,00 und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mauro Reggiani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composizione 38 im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.200,00.
