In November 2020 Christies in Milan held the auction Thinking Italian Milan, which included the work Composizione by Mauro Reggiani. The auction ended at the price of EUR 15,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mauro Reggiani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composizione 38, which sold at auction in November 2003 for EUR 37,200.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im November 2020 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Thinking Italian Milan durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composizione von Mauro Reggiani zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 15.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mauro Reggiani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composizione 38 beobachtet, die im November 2003 für EUR 37.200,00 versteigert wurde.
