This work without title by Mauricio Barbato was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2007. It achieved a price of USD 28,000.00 (€ 19,063.18), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mauricio Barbato; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Philodendron sold at auction in May 2017 with the realized price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,474.90).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Mauricio Barbato; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Philodendron im Mai 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.474,90).
