Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Late Sneeuw by Maurice Wyckaert was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in May 2011. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,750.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maurice Wyckaert - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Belgian Untitled, which sold at auction in December 2007 for EUR 24,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Late Sneeuw von Maurice Wyckaert kam im Mai 2011 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.750,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Maurice Wyckaert mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Belgian Untitled beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für EUR 24.250,00 versteigert wurde.
