Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2003 Christies in Milan held the auction ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA, which included the work Nulle part by Maurice Henry. The price achieved of EUR 2,976.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maurice Henry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Les œufs du vent, which sold at auction in March this year for EUR 8,287.50.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2003 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nulle part von Maurice Henry zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.976,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Maurice Henry mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Les œufs du vent beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für EUR 8.287,50 versteigert wurde.
