Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work La pensée non controlée by Maurice Henry was auctioned at Christies in Rome in December 2002. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,224.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maurice Henry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Les œufs du vent, which sold at auction in March this year for EUR 8,287.50.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit La pensée non controlée von Maurice Henry kam im Dezember 2002 bei Christies in Rom zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.224,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Maurice Henry mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Les œufs du vent beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für EUR 8.287,50 versteigert wurde.
