Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work La Vendange mystique by Maurice Denis was sold in the Living the Avant-Garde: The Triton Collection Foundation, Evening Sale Part I auction at Phillips in New York in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 400,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 431,800.00 (€ 395,856.25). Admittedly, works by Maurice Denis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Cuisinière in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 2,629,000.00 (€ 2,391,304.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit La Vendange mystique von Maurice Denis wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Living the Avant-Garde: The Triton Collection Foundation, Evening Sale Part I bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 400.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 431.800,00 (€ 395.856,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maurice Denis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Cuisinière im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.629.000,00 (€ 2.391.304,35).
