Despite a disappointment, a good price for Mattias Nordéus
When the work Man by Mattias Nordéus was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 18,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 14,000.00 (€ 1,185.65). Despite this disappointing result, Man is the most expensive artwork by Mattias Nordéus that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Mattias Nordéus
Als die Arbeit Man von Mattias Nordéus im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 18.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 14.000,00 (€ 1.185,65) den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Man das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mattias Nordéus, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
