This work without title by Matthias van Arkel was sold in the Böttiger Collection H067 auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 55,000.00 (€ 4,657.93), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Matthias van Arkel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Mini-Sarkofag', which sold at auction in October this year for SEK 120,000.00 (€ 10,162.76).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Matthias van Arkel wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Böttiger Collection H067 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 55.000,00 (€ 4.657,93) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Matthias van Arkel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Mini-Sarkofag' beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für SEK 120.000,00 (€ 10.162,76) versteigert wurde.
