The work "Mini Container" by Matthias van Arkel was sold in the Böttiger Collection H067 auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year. It achieved a price of SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,270.34), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Admittedly, works by Matthias van Arkel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Mini-Sarkofag' in October this year with an auction result of SEK 120,000.00 (€ 10,162.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit "Mini Container" von Matthias van Arkel wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Böttiger Collection H067 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.270,34) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Matthias van Arkel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Mini-Sarkofag' im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 120.000,00 (€ 10.162,76).
