This work without title by Matthias van Arkel was sold in the BLÅ – A Life Estate H065 auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year. The result of SEK 8,000.00 (€ 732.03) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matthias van Arkel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Mini-Sarkofag' in October this year with an auction result of SEK 120,000.00 (€ 10,162.76).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Matthias van Arkel wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion BLÅ – A Life Estate H065 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 8.000,00 (€ 732,03) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matthias van Arkel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Mini-Sarkofag' im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 120.000,00 (€ 10.162,76).
