Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shasta Lake, CA 5 by Matthew Brandt was sold in the Classic & Contemporary Photographs auction at Bonhams in April this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,187.50 (€ 2,887.23) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Matthew Brandt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grays Lake Id 6 (From Lakes And Reservoirs) in April 2021 with an auction result of USD 27,720.00 (€ 23,042.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Shasta Lake, CA 5 von Matthew Brandt wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Classic & Contemporary Photographs bei Bonhams versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.187,50 (€ 2.887,23) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
