Despite a disappointment, a good price for Matt Lipps
This work of art by Matt Lipps could be acquired at Phillips in New York in February 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Camera changed hands for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,606.50) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Camera is the most expensive artwork by Matt Lipps that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Matt Lipps
Dieses Kunstwerk von Matt Lipps konnte im Februar 2018 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Camera für USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.606,50) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Camera das teuerste Kunstwerk von Matt Lipps, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
