The work Deconstructed Mickey (Red) by Matt Gondek was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in October 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,714.93), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Matt Gondek have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aggression in March 2021 with an auction result of HKD 239,400.00 (€ 26,217.18).

Die Arbeit Deconstructed Mickey (Red) von Matt Gondek kam im Oktober 2019 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.714,93) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Matt Gondek auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aggression im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 239.400,00 (€ 26.217,18).
