Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Matías Sánchez could be acquired at Christies in New York in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online auction, this work without title changed hands for HKD 6,300.00 (€ 761.87) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matías Sánchez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Partisanos El Amuerzo (Painted In 2020) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 108,000.00 (€ 110,289.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Matías Sánchez konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 6.300,00 (€ 761,87) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matías Sánchez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Partisanos El Amuerzo (Painted In 2020) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 108.000,00 (€ 110.289,13).
