Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Pescador by Matías Sánchez for HKD 8,820.00 (€ 1,066.61). This price was achieved in the auction No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matías Sánchez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Partisanos El Amuerzo (Painted In 2020) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 108,000.00 (€ 110,289.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pescador von Matías Sánchez für HKD 8.820,00 (€ 1.066,61) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matías Sánchez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Partisanos El Amuerzo (Painted In 2020) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 108.000,00 (€ 110.289,13).
