Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flat Box 12 by Matias Faldbakken was sold in the Contemporary Art Online auction at Sothebys in London in May 2021. The price achieved of GBP 2,520.00 (€ 2,932.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matias Faldbakken achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Mdf) in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 262,500.00 (€ 248,156.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flat Box 12 von Matias Faldbakken wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.520,00 (€ 2.932,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
