Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2016 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Massoud Arabshahi. It changed hands for a price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,143.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Massoud Arabshahi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 277,000.00 (€ 177,929.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2016 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Massoud Arabshahi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.143,99) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Massoud Arabshahi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 277.000,00 (€ 177.929,09).
