This artwork by Massimo Campigli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in May this year. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for EUR 2,200.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Massimo Campigli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Grand Magasin Ou Le Marché, 1929 in October 2021 with an auction result of EUR 400,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 83 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Massimo Campigli erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 2.200,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Massimo Campigli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Grand Magasin Ou Le Marché, 1929 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 400.000,00.
