Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Shichinohe Masaru achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work Phantom Of The Night sold for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 20,590.58) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shichinohe Masaru have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Praying Girl(Painted In 2012) in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 826,000.00 (€ 94,318.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shichinohe Masaru erzielte im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Phantom Of The Night für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 20.590,58) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shichinohe Masaru auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Praying Girl(Painted In 2012) im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 826.000,00 (€ 94.318,08).
