Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life With Anemones by Mary Nicol Neill Armour was sold in the Scottish Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in April 2009. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,380.59) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mary Nicol Neill Armour have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Midsummer Flowers in August 2007 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 44,347.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life With Anemones von Mary Nicol Neill Armour wurde im April 2009 in der Auktion Scottish Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.380,59) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mary Nicol Neill Armour auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Midsummer Flowers im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 44.347,92).
