Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2021 Bonhams in Edinburgh held the auction The Scottish Sale, which included the work Seascape by Mary Nicol Neill Armour. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 956.25 (€ 1,132.90), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mary Nicol Neill Armour achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Midsummer Flowers in August 2007 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 44,347.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Bonhams in Edinburgh die Auktion The Scottish Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seascape von Mary Nicol Neill Armour zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 956,25 (€ 1.132,90) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mary Nicol Neill Armour erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Midsummer Flowers im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 44.347,92).
