Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Mary Nicol Neill Armour achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Edinburgh in May last year. In the Scottish Art auction, the work Iceberg Roses sold for GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,499.92) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mary Nicol Neill Armour achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Midsummer Flowers in August 2007 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 44,347.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mary Nicol Neill Armour erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Edinburgh einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Scottish Art wurde die Arbeit Iceberg Roses für GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.499,92) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mary Nicol Neill Armour erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Midsummer Flowers im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 44.347,92).
