Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Tivetshall Long Row in the Fog by Mary Newcomb was sold in the British Country Life auction at Bonhams in London in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,496.97). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mary Newcomb achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Guinea Fowl on a Fence in March 2000 with an auction result of GBP 38,900.00 (€ 64,692.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Tivetshall Long Row in the Fog von Mary Newcomb wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion British Country Life bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.496,97) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mary Newcomb erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Guinea Fowl on a Fence im März 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 38.900,00 (€ 64.692,48).
