Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Martin Wickström could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the BLÅ – A Life Estate H065 auction, the work "Torgny" changed hands for SEK 9,000.00 (€ 823.54) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martin Wickström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Moondance" in May 2014 with an auction result of SEK 390,000.00 (€ 42,745.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Martin Wickström konnte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion BLÅ – A Life Estate H065 wechselte die Arbeit "Torgny" für SEK 9.000,00 (€ 823,54) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Martin Wickström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Moondance" im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 390.000,00 (€ 42.745,60).
