In March 2021 VAN HAM in Cologne held the auction Contemporary Art | ONLINE ONLY, which included the work Ohne Titel (Gypsophila paniculata L.). by Martin Klimas. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,386.00 59% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Martin Klimas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ohne Titel in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 20,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 59 % übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte VAN HAM in Köln die Auktion Contemporary Art | ONLINE ONLY durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Gypsophila paniculata L.). von Martin Klimas zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.386,00 und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martin Klimas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ohne Titel im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.000,00.
