This artwork by Marthe Donas achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in March 2019. In the Art Impressionniste et Moderne auction, the work Abstraction D'Une Statuette sold for EUR 60,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Marthe Donas; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Femme se coiffant sold at auction in July 2020 with the realized price of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 104,570.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marthe Donas erzielte im März 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne wurde die Arbeit Abstraction D'Une Statuette für EUR 60.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Marthe Donas; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Femme se coiffant im Juli 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 104.570,98).
