This work of art by Martha Walter could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction, the work Babies Health Station Series No.1 changed hands for USD 4,063.00 (€ 2,988.82) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martha Walter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pink Umbrella in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 266,500.00 (€ 189,262.13).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Martha Walter konnte im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture wechselte die Arbeit Babies Health Station Series No.1 für USD 4.063,00 (€ 2.988,82) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Martha Walter erzielen.
