Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Rites of Passage (the Big Night)' by Markus Åkesson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year. The price achieved of SEK 70,000.00 (€ 5,928.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Markus Åkesson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Let me sleep through the night (Somnium)", which sold at auction in April 2021 for SEK 125,000.00 (€ 12,292.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'Rites of Passage (the Big Night)' von Markus Åkesson kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 70.000,00 (€ 5.928,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Markus Åkesson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Let me sleep through the night (Somnium)" beobachtet, die im April 2021 für SEK 125.000,00 (€ 12.292,19) versteigert wurde.
