In December last year Artcurial held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Au Grand Café, chez Angelina by Marko Stupar. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,936.00 31% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marko Stupar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Plateau Beaubourg, which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 15,138.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 31 % übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Au Grand Café, chez Angelina von Marko Stupar zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.936,00 und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Marko Stupar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Plateau Beaubourg beobachtet, die im April 2008 für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 15.138,95) versteigert wurde.
