In the The Irish Sale auction, the work Going home from market sold for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,925.41) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Markey Robinson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Celestial Homes, Co. Kerry, Overlooking Macgillycuddy'S Reeks, which sold at auction in May 2005 for GBP 21,600.00 (€ 31,888.38).
