Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,709.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Markey Robinson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Celestial Homes, Co. Kerry, Overlooking Macgillycuddy'S Reeks, which sold at auction in May 2005 for GBP 21,600.00 (€ 31,888.38).
