Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Markey Robinson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in July 2021. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Landscape With Figures sold for GBP 4,462.50 (€ 5,233.21) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Markey Robinson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Celestial Homes, Co. Kerry, Overlooking Macgillycuddy'S Reeks in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 21,600.00 (€ 31,888.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Markey Robinson erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Landscape With Figures für GBP 4.462,50 (€ 5.233,21) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Markey Robinson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Celestial Homes, Co. Kerry, Overlooking Macgillycuddy'S Reeks im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.600,00 (€ 31.888,38).
