Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Post-War British Art, which included the work Still Life, Dahlias And Daisies In A Blue Vase by Mark Gertler. The price achieved of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,839.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Gertler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Violinist in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 542,500.00 (€ 764,918.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life, Dahlias And Daisies In A Blue Vase von Mark Gertler zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 33.839,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mark Gertler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Violinist im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 542.500,00 (€ 764.918,19).
