Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Men's Club by Mark Flood for GBP 4,410.00 (€ 4,896.93). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Flood achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Star Channel in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 209,000.00 (€ 153,225.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Men's Club von Mark Flood für GBP 4.410,00 (€ 4.896,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mark Flood erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Star Channel im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 209.000,00 (€ 153.225,81).
