Auction result well in line with expectations
The work How you like it daddy... by Mark Bradford was sold in the 20th/21st Century: Evening Sale Including Thinking Italian, London auction at Christies in October 2021. The price achieved of GBP 2,772,500.00 (€ 3,284,663.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500,000.00 – 3,500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mark Bradford - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Helter Skelter I, which sold at auction in March 2018 for GBP 8,671,500.00 (€ 9,872,981.37).

Die Arbeit How you like it daddy... von Mark Bradford wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Evening Sale Including Thinking Italian, London bei Christies versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.772.500,00 (€ 3.284.663,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500.000,00 – 3.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Mark Bradford mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Helter Skelter I beobachtet, die im März 2018 für GBP 8.671.500,00 (€ 9.872.981,37) versteigert wurde.
