The price achieved of GBP 2,772,500.00 (€ 3,284,663.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500,000.00 – 3,500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mark Bradford - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Helter Skelter I, which sold at auction in March 2018 for GBP 8,671,500.00 (€ 9,872,981.37).
