In the American Art auction, the work Unidentified Seated Male Torso sold for USD 6,120.00 (€ 5,422.17) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mark Beard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fumeurs sur les roches, which sold at auction in June this year for EUR 11,520.00.

Für andere Arbeiten von Mark Beard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fumeurs sur les roches beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für EUR 11.520,00 versteigert wurde.
